Taming A Busy Mane (and Lifestyle) With The New Pantene Waterless Collection

If you’ve been following me for the past few months, you know that my life has recently taken on a more is more mentality. Between my 9-5 job, the blog, staying caught up with a fitness regime, keeping my freelance clients happy, and maintaining a social life, it’s a lot. Not to mention the fact that I have to commute to and from San Francisco on a daily basis. It’s inevitable that I have to cut corners somewhere. For me, that means I meal prep more and wash my hair less. On average, I wash my hair (with water) every 4-5 days, so once (maybe twice) a week. I know what you’re thinking: gross. Hear me out. There simply aren’t enough hours in the day to get all of my work done, spend 20 minutes in the shower, and do a daily blow out. It’s just not happening. Instead, I rely (heavily) on dry shampoo.

Just because I don’t have time to wash my hair every day doesn’t mean I don’t want to look and feel my best in and out of the office (I am single, and ready to mingle, after all). I feel most on top of my game when my hair is down, rocking some beachy waves. It’s not always feasible (sometimes the snooze button wins), but I try to avoid a greasy top knot as often as I can. This is where dry shampoo saves the day.

I have tried many (many) dry shampoo brands, but there are few that work with my thin, flat hair. I need a brand who can turn up the volume (ya feel me?), without totally drying out my hair. That’s where Pantene comes in. The new Pantene Waterless Collection is a game changer. It has seriously transformed my non-wash days! The Never Tell Dry Shampoo Spray is great for a volume refresh, and clean slate for styling. It truly gives my hair the clean texture that I crave, so my curls (and days) don’t fall flat. This invisible dry shampoo absorbs dirt and oil without any of the white powdery residue and it is sulfate and paraben free. To use, shake well before and during use, part and lift sections of dry hair, spray at roots and wherever your hair many need refreshment and massage thoroughly with fingertips.

In this collection, Pantene also offers a Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist which helps to fight frizz and detangle your dirty locks. The Pantene Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist is a mixture of a leave-in conditioner and a styling spray. The sulfate and paraben free mist evenly distributes its nourishing ingredients on frizzy, tangled, or just plain unruly hair, delivering 24-hour frizz protection between washes. To use, hold the can 6-8 inches away from your hair for optimal coverage and spray from the mid-lengths & downwards on dry hair. Do not spray at your roots.

So, basically, you can take a full (waterless) shower in a fraction of the time.

This power duo is something that’s extremely valuable on the days that I sneak away at lunchtime to take a Pilates class, because I can come back to the office looking even better than I did when I left. I am able to reset, without the rewet, if you will.

File this under: must-have.

I challenge you to extend your non-wash days with the new Pantene Waterless Collection. It is available for a limited time at a Walmart near you. Run, don’t walk, and get your clean on.

xx, jordan
