Boozy S’more Hot Chocolate

Whenever I’m visiting the snow (or the lack-thereof), I like to make a signature cocktail to fit with the mountain-esque scenery. Something that says, I’m a boujee, boozy snow bunny. Usually, it’s some sort of winter mule or a spiked hot chocolate. Ya know, a drink to warm the bones.

This trip, I wanted to try a fancier hot chocolate recipe. A drink that would get you toasty and toasted. Something that could substitute dessert, and paired well with fuzzy socks and a warm fire.

Ergo, the boozy s’more hot chocolate!

Here’s what you’ll need

Your favorite hot cocoa mix
Marshmallows
Marshmallow fluff
Graham crackers
Whiskey

First, line the rim of your mugs with marshmallow fluff. Put 1-2 graham crackers in a ziplock bag and smash them up in to bitty crumbs, then dump them on to a shallow plate. Dip the rims of the mugs on to the graham cracker plate and set aside.

In a pot, mix and warm the hot chocolate with milk as directed on the packaging. Pour in to your mugs and top with a shot (or two) of whiskey. To garnish, roast 2-3 marshmallows on the fire and drop them in to the mug. That’s all there is to it.

Enjoy with your closest friends in a warm cabin!
