Ready or not, Santa Claus is comin’ to town (in six weeks). While we’re not technically closing in on the holiday season just yet, it’s time to start thinking about gifts. I always struggle with gift ideas, because I tend to totally overthink the recipients reaction. Will they love it, or will it sit at the bottom of their closet for two years? The struggle is real, my friends.
So, in the spirit of the holidays, I’ve rounded up a 2017 Holiday Gift Guide, all under $100.
Cosmocap by Remilia Hair — The Cosmocap daily hair serum is so killer, and the packaging is the cutest. I have extremely thin hair, and this serum made my locks feel softer and stronger after only one use! It’s only $32.99 per bottle, which makes for a fun add-on gift or the perfect stocking stuffer. Sugar Fina Candy — I want candy, cue Aaron Carter. You’ve likely heard of Sugar Fina and their luxury boutique candy bento boxes, which is a great option for colleagues. Their holiday gift boxes run around $30.
Jeremy Wine — I recently joined Jeremy’s wine club, so I’m biased, but they have a yummy holiday blend that is equal parts festive and fun. If Jeremy isn’t available near you, choose a holiday-inspired bottle for quick gifting.
Crosley Velvet Record Player — This gift rocks, literally. I mean, who wouldn’t want a velvet record player? This is on my Christmas list this year, hint hint. For $99, gimme.
Honest Hazel eye masks — I love the idea of making a spa kit for a holiday gift. Grab a gift certificate for a massage and throw in 3 Honest Hazel Eye Masks for $12. Boom.
A Matte Liquid Lipstick — I’m a big fan of the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick, but I think any matte lipstick makes a fun gift in a winter nude or Christmas red.
Spiritual Gangster Dreamer Crop Sweatshirt — My obsession with stars is still going strong, so this soft Spiritual Gangster sweatshirt makes the list by default ($98).
Little Fires Everywhere — A Reese Witherspoon book club favorite, Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng ($18), was a page turner. Highly recommend for the book worm on your list!
L’Occitane Hand Cream — Everyone’s favorite hand cream, and rightfully so. I love this hand cream bouquet by L’Occitane because you get to try all of the best-selling and seasonal scents. Get it here for $54.
Gorjana Jewelry — A little holiday glam never hurt nobody. Gorjana makes some really great gold jewelry, like the star studs ($35) or the crescent necklace ($78).
Candle — A nice candle is my go-to when I have completely blanked on a gift idea. Anything from Anthro earns an A+ in my book.
Shave kit — A solid shave kit is a practical, yet nice, option for the dudes on your list. Khiel’s makes a really good one for $43.
Macrame Plant Hanger — I make these myself, and buy a planter from Anthropologie to gift with it. It’s fun being able to give something handmade, but if you don’t know how to macrame, check out Etsy!
New Balance x J Crew — They did the dang thing. New Balance and J Crew collaborated on a fitness apparel collection and it’s real cute. Snag this high neck star printed crop for $69.99 for your fitness junkie.
Bath Bombs — Some of my favorites come from Lush, but you can buy bath bombs almost anywhere for a really affordable price. Package them up cute and send ’em on their way.
A Nice Sweater — Since the beginning of time, people have been gifting quality sweaters to family and friends, and I don’t hate it. Because, ya know, sweater weather.
Vinyl Records — Even if they don’t own a record player, vinyl records are still a really rad collectible. Track down their favorite artist at a local thrift store and buy them a couple of old vinyls to display, or play.
Man Crates — These smash & grab gift cards come in a block of cement, with a hammer. You choose the gift card online, and the recipient has to smash the cement to get their gift. It’s fun, it’s interactive, the guys love ’em and they start at $75.
PSA: If you spend $200 at L*Space between December 1-23, you’ll get your very own gold mermaid stocking, fo free.
