I say this with every ounce of humility; I’ve always had exceptionally white teeth. At age 16, I got my braces off and did one, 20-day round of Crest White Strips and haven’t touched a whitening regimen since (with the exception of whitening toothpaste, obviously).
Since then, I’ve been drinking coffee like it’s my job, but never really noticed how much it was staining my teeth. It wasn’t until I saw a toothpaste commercial where two babes with huge smiles talked about the “tissue test”. Naturally, I had to give it a go—so I held a white tissue next to my shockingly, not-so-pearly-whites. Talk about an eye-opener.
Thankfully, I had just received my Smile Brilliant set in the mail. It was a dang Christmas miracle, I tell ya. So here’s how it works;
First, you’ll use the molds included in your kit and take some impressions—because these aren’t your basic over-the-counter whitening kits, they’re better. You send your impressions in, and get some custom trays back within a few days, which you will use with the whitening and desensitizing gels. That’s when the magic happens.
The trays are soft and comfortable, which is nice since you can leave them in for up to three hours with the whitening gel. Sometimes I forget they are in, I swear, they’re that good.
Immediately following the whitening session, you use the desensitizing gel in the trays for an additional 15 minutes, which helps if you have super-sensitive teeth. Thankfully, I do not— whitening gels have always been a non-issue for me. But, I still use the desensitizer for good measure.
You should see results after about five sessions (I did), and reap the full pearly benefits after fourteen.
My teeth weren’t very yellow to begin with, however they were dull and lacked sparkle. Now they look and feel brighter and bolder after just five sessions, and I’m totally on board with it.
I am over the moon with my results, just in time for all of those holiday shindigs.
Get yours today, friends. You won’t regret it.
