Aloha Friday

FILED IN: Fashion

The warm breeze, swaying palm trees, miles of clear blue water, a strong mai-tai, a couple of surfboards, oodles of aloha vibes and ungodly tan locals– that’s my kind of vacation. Hawaii is where the heart is. Unfortunately, said vacation is a $600 and 2,000+ mile flight away which makes for a long distance, longing heart.

For a quick fix– some beachy bling and a killer bikini can usually trick my mind into thinking I’m somewhere a little less industrial and a little more tropical. Thankfully, the super-talented genius behind Ki-ele Jewelry, Marylea Conrad, made me feel like a Hawaiian princess, right here in the middle of the silicon valley.

Ki-ele Jewelry has the most gorgeous, dainty pieces of jewelry and killer clutches that scream aloha (literally). Each design has it’s own inspirations pulled from the ocean, so whether you’re a seasoned collector of seashells or an avid surfer, there’s bound to be a piece that makes your heart skip a beat.

My go-to is the mermaid bar, I literally wear it every single day (because mermaids are my spirit animal, duh), layered with other jewels or worn by itself.

If mermaid bling isn’t your thing, you have to check out Ki-ele’s killer clutches. From beach day to night play, this bag is a summer staple. The neutral colors and subtle beachy vibes make it easy to pair with my favorite ‘kini on the sand or my favorite skinnies for date night.

Mahalo, Ki-ele Jewelry for making all of my salty island dreams come true.
